Source?
probably, "howtoevangelizefirefox.com"

Firefox is great, but stooping to the level of fabricating "security flaws" in the other browsers is ridiculous. Firefox has had security issues as well, so it's not as if it's any different from the other browsers in that respect.

it would also be nice to hear about these alleged "serious" and "major" security flaws from a reputable source.

Oh wait, let me guess Helpmeh- you found the flaws?

so no one who doesn't want to get their computer taken over
no one should be nobody, which should be anybody. Otherwise your saying that nobody should go back to firefox, which I'm sure is the opposite of what you meant.

Panic over people.
http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,73696.msg481032/topicseen.html#msg481032
3-4 week old flaw, patch has already been distributed.
Would have been relevant, had it been posted on in every other thread the same day as the news article.

was it really something to "panic" over? After all, who knows if somebody had found the flaw before microsoft found and patched it, and for how long. So even when the news article was released panic would have been a bit late.

I was joking.
I saw it on the news in passing but dismissed it, obviously it was a slow day for news if they stoop to covering browser security flaws.

Why isn't Google Chrome included?
It is an 'Other' browser...

an even slower news day would include articles such as "who decided that OK goes on the left? PC world investigates..."

        SRRY

Hi this is Presario. I'm new to this website, but at this moment, I'm having problems with the Internet Explorer. Once the web page comes up, I see the word "Connecting" and it won't go any further than that. Then an error box comes up fast saying "RUNTIME ERROR 216 AT 03294382". What does that mean? I don't understand that message. But I have deleted the original IE off of the desktop and downloaded it twice thinking that would make the web pages  bring up my yahoo web page. Someone please help!!!!!  Thank you. 1-13-09
