    Blinking desktop icons
    « on: December 24, 2008, 06:32:47 PM »
Hi. I am sure I have been hit by virus or spyware or malware. When I start up, and login, my desktop icons will come up for about 20 seconds then disappear for 5 seconds (leaving just the wall paper). This repeated over and over again. So the icons, the tray icons, quick launch icons, everything is gone leaving the wall paper visible. I can run AVG and the scan indicated 2 trojan horses and were removed. Unforunately, Spybots were unable to run (not responding) and adware will shut down after login and can never be started again. Here's my specs:

    Win Xp Pro Sp3
    Dell P4 2.8GHz
    1 Gb RAM
    160Gb HD
Spybots Search & Destroy (updated frequently)
    Free AVG (Updated always)
    Zone Alarm Basic (Updated always)
    Lavasoft Ad-aware 6.0
    Microsoft Defender 1.1.1593.0
    Spyguard 2.2

    Please help.

Thanks for the reply. Well, I am very relieved now as I obliterated all the bugs or spyware. It's due to several dlls i.e. yivoboki.dll, sunapija.dll, gafuyowo.dll and fujizeve.dll. Thanks for several antispyware/malware tools i.e. combofix, HijackThis, registry edit and many more small actions. My existing spybots search and destroy, ad-aware and spyguard play important roles in holding off these bugs during startup (stopping from running). Thanks again.
