    How do I open "swf" file types in Windows Vista Home Premium ?

    If ffdshow DirectShow codecs are installed on a Windows system, other software applications may also be able to play flv files:

        * Media Player Classic
        * Winamp
        * Windows Media Player
        * Zoom Player
        * xine

      I downloaded the Adobe Flash successfully,
      the swf files still will not open....????

      Adobe Flash is NOT a standalone player. It's necessary to display web sites' flash content, only.
      To play standalone flv file, you need standalone player (check my previous reply).

      Media Player Classic can play .swf file perfectly.
