    He can't install it from his hard drive if it's an installed program.

      As i said earlier Institutions have agreements with most major software vendors at a huge discount...he should be able to simply provide you with the latest version on a CD at little or no cost whatsoever...
      My Nephew got Vista Ultimate from the College Bookstore as a requirement for peanuts as it was a course requirement for whatever reason...

        Yes that is true, We are provided Adobe Compact Suits because that's what we are learning, its a part of our studies, but I already had it so he said he'd give me a newer version, for free.
