    video problem with vista

    DVD pictures are very dark sometimes like negatives. I found this error message:
     Problems with your video hardware caused windows to stop working correctly.

    DVD Pictures? Movies or Pictures that have been saved to DVD? Also please provide hardware make/model, and video card info please. And if a DVD Movie...what player and version are you using?

    Download, and install WhoCrashed: http://www.resplendence.com/download/whocrashedSetup.exe
    Open it, click Analyze button.
    The program will create report
    Copy, and paste it into your next reply.

      Hi Dave,
      I was trying to watch BBC natural history DVDs.
      Computer is Dell Inspiron 1501
      Video card ATI Xpress 1150
