Anyone using mini laptop?
« on: January 16, 2009, 06:30:56 PM »
I'm thinking about buying one of those 8'9" mini laptops.
Anyone has been using it for a while?
How does the small screen feel?

Well, i use a Asus Eee PC 901, and although sometimes the screen is a bit of a strain to the eye, the weight and battery life of the laptop outweighs the problems of a Netbook

Just so you know, the Eee PC 901 has six hours of battery life, and weighs less than a KG

Although the keyboard maybe hard to type, you'll get use to it. its perfect for space challenged places or for on the go work.

    Thanks iamyourmom
Actually, I don't want Eee type, but regular one, like this one: http://shop1.frys.com/product/5748312?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG
It has 120GB HDD. Same size, though....2lbs=1kg

Hmm Seems interesting, but i would suggest the Eee type, because its a solid-state drive, which means faster boot speed and relative activity speed.

Its also because the Eee series all have the 802.11n wireless cards, which is better and faster than the a,b,g wireless.

      Btw, my name is Boris.
