Finally, I had a chance to go to Circuit City today.
Complete waste of time.
I looked only at computer prices.
They offer 10$% (!!) off, of really high prices.

I was actually looking for new laptop, and I got one at Best Buy - Compaq Presario CQ60-215DX for $449:
#  AMD® Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Processor QL-62
# 2GB DDR2 RAM
# 250GB 5,400RPM Hard Drive
# LightScribe SuperMulti 8x DVD±R/RW with Double Layer Support
# 5-in-1 Digital Media Reader
# NVIDIA GeForce 8200M
# 10/100 Network
# 802.11b/g Wireless Network
# 15.6" High Definition BrightView Display
# Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium

Circuit City wanted for the very same laptop $510 (after discount).
Micro Center - also $449, but after $130 mail-in rebate from two different sources, Best Buy had a straight price.

My family got a bunch of good deals when our local store closed (in the first wave of closes).  Everything was 50 to 90% off.

Of course, they probably raised the prices before starting the sale, so everything looked like a good deal to us consumers, but what the heck?

asked a employe there why with the low discounts and heres what he had to say.
"We had it originally at higher discounts before we announced bankrupcy but then we lowered the discounts to make it worth it...."

      thats just greedy  >:(
If you dont know DOS, you dont know Windows...

Thats why Bill Gates created the Windows NT Family.
