WMI Issue

I have a problem with WMI, it seems to be corrupted, and when I tried to do a system restore, I kept getting a blue screen with the Iso less than (Or whatever it was). I can no longer share my internet connection in ad hocks. Is there any solution to this? I am running this on a school computer on a domain, if this helps at all...

Also, I do not have access to the installation disks. I am running windows vista on a lenovo think pad computer, and have access to BIOS and the Rescue and Recovery features if this helps
