Bad image on everything

On start up I get this error message:

Services.exe bad image ( on 47 other exe files)

Application or DLL c:\windows\system32\zowenuri.dll is not a valid windows image. Check against the installation disk

Then in runs through every exe file on the computer. I can't copy files to a cd drive cause it doesn't see the disk but it does see the drive. When I try to load a program I get the same error message for that program.

We've tried to restore and we've tried a boot disk but neither works. Everything comes up bad image

It's a Dell Inspiron 600m, XP w/service pack 3 and 512 RAM

I can't download anything. When I try I get the error message:

"The server name or address could not be resolved"

I was in the process of reloading Spybot when everything headed south.

I also see I have this in the wrong forum, sorry...feel free to move it to the correct place

Don't worry about wrong forum. In my previous reply, I asked you to start new topic in malware forum.
As for downloading, download all programs on working computer, and transfer them to bad computer.
In any case, start new topic in malware forum.
