    Computer shuts off when bumped?
    « on: February 01, 2009, 11:49:51 AM »
I'm having a weird problem with my computer. Every time I bump it really hard, First time it was an accident, it just shuts off and the power LED starts slowly flashing and I can't turn the computer back on.

I get it to work by turning off the power at the back, hitting it a few times, then turning it back on. It's really weird and I opened the PC to check if anything was loose, but everything seems to have a strong connection.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Yes, I've checked all the connections outside and inside the computer and everything is ok. The power cord is not the problem I know that for sure.

If you cant see anything on the outside, you may have to check the power cord connection inside the computer. Good luck

Maybe the comp is just a gluten for punishment and really likes it when you have to get rough with it.  ;)
