    Windows 7 gaming resolution
    « on: February 03, 2009, 04:32:19 AM »
My resolution in vista for gaming was 1440x900
but i tried out the windows 7 (64bit) and I'm limited to 1152x864 on every game

I've installed all the drivers I could find; such as the new windows 7 compatible catalyst and the windows update drivers but it doesn't seem to be solved.
I'm using the Toshiba satelite p300, 4 gig ram and the ATI HD3470

    please help
    thx

As Windows 7 is a BETA you can't possibly expect them to be tripping over each other to write drivers for an OS that won't be released for another year...
You are stuck with what you have.
You should have setup a dual-boot system.
