Wireless Networking with a USB modem

Hey
Is it possible to share a broadband connection wirelessly between two PC's in my house, when the modem is a BT voyager 105 USB. All the internet help sites say that i need an ethernet modem, as opposed to a USB one. Is this the case?

Yes, you probably posted in the wrong place, a better place would have been computer hardware.

You technically could share this connection wirelessly but you would need an network card (wired or wireless) in your computer going back to the wireless access point or router, the modem connected to this same computer and Internet Connection Sharing running on this computer.  This also means that this computer would have to be running all the time for the other computer to get on the internet.

It would be simpler if you had an ethernet modem to plug directly into the wireless router and let the router do all the work.

I agree... From what I hear, "USB tends to give a flaky connection, and Ethernet tends to handle connections such as this better."
