Getting a headache over this
« on: April 24, 2005, 09:32:00 AM »
First time I ran into a problem that don't make sense. It all started with an issue building a pc. Had a posting issue, so started replacing memory, cpu and video card from a working PC. Upon replacing the original components back into the working pc am now getting singular post beeps in the Award BIOS, which appears to be RAM-related. I have reseated, the RAM, changed it out with new RAM and am still plagued with that single, regular post beep. Any ideas, 'cause I'm out of them. Glad I have plenty of PC's....geesh!

It sounds like a bad connection somewhere on the motherboard.  Probably one of the RAM sockets is "weak".
