Hello folks.
New to the boards. Appreciate any help I can get.
So, yesterday I was shutting down the Inspiron 1521 on which I run Vista. It said it had some automatic updates. Fine. It ran them. But then it hung at the "logging off" window.
I let it sit for hours that way then finally pressed the case power button. It shut off.
On reboot it does the "resuming" thing and goes right back to the logging off screen.
I'm trying unsuccessfully to f8 my way into safe mode at the moment...
Has anybody seen this before?
