I've recently found out that I have the nasty and unwanted Virtumonde virus. I was reading and browsing these forums and thought you may be of some assistance. I'm an addicted computer user and i'd die without my computer. It'd be much appreciated with some help.
Problems- There's pop-ups. This has never happened with my PC before. I use "Mozilla Firefox". I would assume it has a pop-up blocker of it's own. But what struck me is It's pulling up Internet explorer tabs instead of firefox tabs. That's what drove me to suspicion of unwanted files on my PC
- My "Start bar" dissapears for about 15 seconds, comes back usually...sometimes unresponsive forcing a restart by the button.
- My sounds will skip and stutter when I am using itunes/winamp/windows media player. This causes my computer to "lag" and kind of skip?
If you can supply any help at all with this problem, you'd be a saint in my book.
