running me/need help

i am running me and the system locks up and stays that way for about 5-10 min then releases and 5 min later does it againn any ideas :-/

More information please... How much RAM do you have? Have you scanned for viruses and Spyware? Have you made any changes to your system lately?

i have 200 megahertz and i have 80 gigabytes of ram
no new add ons and os is me but theres something about the pnp it says windows 95   :-/   not sure what that is looking to see if there is some way to change utilities to speed things up and stop this lag that only seems to be getting worse

Are you running winme oer win95........run scandisk at the dos promt......or the  defrag cmd
