IE7 or Firefox

On my desktop, l click on the IE icon, it starts adsl and then logs me on to my isp. Google toolbar is at the top, my favorites are in a column on the left, and the body of the screen is my isp site - it's all automatic with no questions asked.
I've had no problems whatsoever with IE but everyone is talking about Firefox and the benefits of it's add ons, and quite frankly, l'm a bit s**t scared to change from the norm.
So, do l change from IE7 and if so, how do l do this?
Step by step help will be appreciated.

i have 3 IE firefox and google chrome. after chrome came out i started to use it. its really gud and they made it simple faster than firefox. i think to my opinion
