    I think the previous version was faster, but I quite like the new one. A much better GUI.

          If it means anything, Format Factory is guaranteed 100% Clean at Softpedia. Download file checks out OK at VirusTotal. Very easy to use program.

          If no-one's mentioned it yet, there's also Prism from NCH Software. Haven't tried it yet but they make VideoPad, which is a decent enough, if basic, free video editor.
