    Razer - Deathadder gaming mouse
    « on: March 04, 2009, 10:14:18 PM »
    Product name: Razer Deathadder
Product group: computer pheriphals, gaming mice
    Price: 59.99
    Condition bought in: New

My feedback: When I first opened the box, I can't help to notice that it was quite well packaged, and it was easy to remove the mouse from the plastic see through holding box. After plugging the mouse in, I was impressed to find that thee rubber-sprayed surface of the mouse very comfy to rest on, and its ergonomic right hand design quite well done. With its 1800 dots per inch (DPI) i find that a simple jerk of the hand allows me to skip through the screen, unlike my old mouse, which require a lot more movement. The side buttons were well placed, and easy to reach and press, unlike the other Razer  mice, such as the Diamond back or Copperhead.

    Pros:
    - 1800 DPI 3G infrared sensor allows the mouse to be used over most surfaces
    - 7 foot long cable, with gold plated USB.
    - Fits right into a large right hand.

    Cons:
    - 7 foot long cable may be a bit too long.
    - Requires a driver to fully use the features, such as on the fly sensitivity change
-1800 DPI is not the best DPI in the market, but enough for gamers

    Rating?
    4/5

Glad you like your Deathadder, I've heard it is a good mouse and I did consider the Copperhead and Diamondback mice you mentioned when I bought my G5.
One question though - you say it cost 59.99, but in what currency?
