Network Card HELP
« on: April 28, 2005, 04:53:32 PM »
I just started having this problem this morning. I have the latest drivers for my network card. Everytime I turn on my computer it says Local Area Network: "Limited or no Connection found". It says this even when I unplug the computer from the router and plug directly into the cable box. I get internet access on my other computer so I'm sure its the network card on this one but I don't know what's wrong with it.

Try this
http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

It fixes a bad winsock stack after some spyware products have been removed.  Even if you haven't done that lately this won't hurt to run, it just sets things to how they are supposed to be.
