    You could try DOSBOX
    or several other DOS emulators:

     ;)
If you dont know DOS, you dont know Windows...

Dos box is the way to go. Or if you have a Old copy of windows like 95 or 98 you could run a virtual os with Virtual Box, windows will work inside windows and old windows means dos games.

      Virtual box www.virtualbox.org/
      Hope this helps!!

What version of dosbox do you have, and is your OS the 32 or 64 bit version of Vista?

Vista OS is 32 bit version, and

http://www.classic-pc-games.com/pc/puzzle_games/lode_runner:_the_legend_returns.html is where I got the loderunner game which I wanted and also sorry I don't know what version of DOSBox I downloaded, http://www.classic-pc-games.com/cgi-bin/download/DOSBox-Installer.exe is where the dosbox installer I got came from.

So you can't install DOSBOX or Loderunner?

DosBox installs fine, I've tested oregon trail game which I obtained from same site (the first game that came to mind that needs dosbox other than loderunner) and it plays fine. Loderunner doesn't. Odd.

thanks anyway, it's not the right version but it doesn't really matter, but i'll try it again and see if I get it to work like it should . if not, this post will be updated
