installing xp on new harddrive

I have an HP Pavilion a6300f that came with Vista on it. The hard drive died so I bought a new 500GB harddrive, but I want to just install XP Pro on it. Wil I have any install problems relating to factory installed components?

Possibly not but check that XP drivers are available for your installed hardware.

I have a laptop and wanted to go from vista to xp. They were never going to make the drivers for xp. I got lucky and my laptop being cheap was somwhat popular and someone bundled all the drivers and handed them out. What a nice guy!

HP doesn't list xp drivers for your computer.  I foud this:
