Just wondering if 95 or 98 is still in use? In this poll I don't mean that computer that has sat in the basement for 5 years to count it has to be used ad least once a month. I be the first to spill i still run 95 on a laptop.  :)

Staying with good ol', stable Win 2K! 8)

Until Win 7 comes out, and see how it does.

I do for the most part, I have programs that are old enough that I need it to be there.  I am tring to fix a few of the issues but I am using it on ME....
Windows 7 RC Tester.  Working on it.  Your monitor says etchasketch on the side!

I have- a PC-DOS 7 laptop with windows 3.1 that I usually fire up at least once a month for one reason or another.

Seems to be having issues now, though.

My other laptop isn't fired up near as often- (although around a year and a half ago I used it almost all the time), it has windows 98SE, 144MB of RAM and a 133Mhz Pentium.

the LCD is the crappy passive matrix kind.  works for the most part, hasn't been able to read my burned CDs for the last while, but I believe it's an issue with the brands...

maybe the poll should use checkboxes?

I had tried vista for a week or two, but it destroyed my new computer, but when I went back to xp, everything worked just fine again!

I still have Toshiba desktop with 98 on it, and Compaq with Win2K. Both in working condition, but in the closet, since I find using virtual Windows much more handy to use, if I need some reference.

I agree, in fact with my laptop it's quite the opposite- neither XP install allows suspend mode to recover- and the 2Ghz Processors stay at 16mhz or some other ridiculously low value.

Works 100% fine in vista though.

I remember windows 95 came on 14 floppies, I think. I think you had to actually request floppies for windows 98, though.
