If I fall who is there to pick me up now.  I stand alone but I stand as the gaurdian for whom I wish to protect.  The sound of my blade utters my name as you fall.  For I shall not move.  For those that forsake the very people are wosres

    thats from the jigsaw program?

I wonder why it would do that.

AV programs really dislike VB for some reason. I'll see if I can recompile it.

alright, I think I know why it does that-

it's because there was a malware program written in VB that would create random shapes all over the screen

It just so happened to use the windows API "PolyPolygon" function. and AVs now pretty much won't let VB programs use PolyPolygon and various other APIs.

see if this one still gives you the warning, though:

Uninstall Avast and install the jigsaw App...
      Power down and re-install Avast.

harry 48- do not run the program.

I have discovered why that error came up.

my main PC, the one I compiled with- was infected with that blasted virut. you, since you have an AV, it detected this. Silly me, I pushed the issue.

        Can't believe I didn't put 4 and 4 together here.

wether that was why it occured, I don't know. I just hope I caught you in time to stop you from running it.

        as for everybody else...

        woops.

me... of all people- unsuspectingly infected with a virus I had recently poked fun at as being trivial to remove.

        Oh the irony...

fate- why do you mock me so?

        lol

        thank goodness.

I thought that your checker was simply flagging it because it called the polygon API.

it would be better if they used a descriptive name...

        oh well.

It's done a lot of damage to my reputation elsewhere, I think. uploading possibly infected viruses to a web-site trying to make a name for itself.

        *sigh*

If I knew where the person was that created this virus, I would like to discuss with them my feeling through violence.
