Ok this makes more sense.  It is sorta like solitary confinement for programs.  They are there, just in an inescapable barrier!

This something like sandboxie, but sandboxie for applications. Disk write copy protect whole drive.

A program to protect Windows systems using virtualization technology data. Can protect one or more selected sections of the hard disk.
When the regime for the protection of the program creates a virtual copy of the selected partition. The technical and visual terms to the user does not change, but all data on protected disk remains intact, and all changes are written to the virtual copy, which you work. Accordingly, all the changes (deleting the registry format, virus infected disk, the files downloaded to disk or to the system) will remain on a virtual copy. When you restart your computer, a virtual copy erased all modified data in the new session, a new virtual copy made from the original disc. That is, unless you disable the password protection.

The second regime for the protection of "Incremental" works differently.
When the incremental backup mode, the program creates a virtual copy of the selected disc, just writes all changes to a virtual copy, but when you turn off or restart the computer, the copy is not erased. You will continue to work with a virtual copy of the new session with the data that you have changed. And so the next session will be filled. To return to the original and delete the virtual copy, you should simply turn off the protection mode.

It appears to be nothing like Sandboxie.

Sandboxie isolates a program within a sandboxed environment.

Exactly what was asked when I posted this program up last year.

Not an unreasonable question from someone who didn't see the post you made last year, Carbon.  (Such as myself.)

Meant to be a joke, Aegis.

There is a very good explanation on Sandboxie's website.
