It's kind of like dvd vs blueray. 9500GT is at the dvd level while the GTX's are at the blueray level!

I dont think gtxs are blueray.  Mabye hd dvd

Maybe  :) Check out the latest ATI graphics card, it's a monster to say the least. A 1ghz core that's officially coming on the card (so there's warranty and no personal overclocking needed) .... that's something   ;D

Yeah the 4890. I wonder how much power you need to feed the card itself to have it up and running well? That card certainly looks like it'll blow Crysis clean out of the water. LOL  :)

the 4870 does too.  You would be good with a GOOD 550w.  I would get at least 650 though

What would be the recommended 12V amp that the PSU would need to supply? I find wattage not so important as 12V rail amp values the PSU provides. 550W with low 12V rail amp not good as 400W psu with high amp value. And assuming you use name brand psu like antec, rosewill or something else.

I still wouldn't get a 400w with a high 12v rail.  Around 550w with at least 20a
