          Nope, MGS not made by valve.

          Any game made by Valve requires Steam.

                its not so much that but unless it came with the game, I hate to do a second install in such since I only have dial up.

                        I dont mind that as long as I use one of my other accounts.  I mean like if I have classes I can go faster even at my grandmothers.
