HP does have XP software drivers for your keyboard, you might recall.

    Hi all,

    Sorry for any thread-nomancy,

    But i was just wondering if i could ask anyone here for a list of drivers for that said laptop (Dv5-1140tx) as i will be picking one up soon and honestly loathe vista.

      Hi Nick,

      I'll check out what I loaded shortly... well probably within a few days.  I've got a nightmare week ahead of me so I'll try to get to it when I can.

      One thing I will say though, DO NOT wipe/format the HDD until you've backed up the Drivers folder from C:\ drive.  If you don't have that folder you won't have the drivers for sound - in all my searching I never found a suitable driver elsewhere (lucky my partner had the same computer which wasn't formatted yet!).
