    files that won't delete
    « on: April 27, 2009, 10:41:15 PM »
I have a few jpegs on my computer that showed up after I had a recent virus that weren't there before.....I've tried to take control of them and even that doesn't work. I can see the file, but it doesn't show anything else, it's like it's not there. Anyone have any tips on how to remove them?

        Are they read-only?

          Hm...

Well you can try using Unlocker Assistant.

It helps me delete junk whenever things get stubborn.

What do you mean by nothing?

              Download, and install Unlocker: http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/
It'll install under right click menu.

              Open Windows Explorer.
Navigate to the folder, where the "offending file" is located.

Right click on the "offending file". Click Unlocker
              Select Delete from drop-down menu:

              Click OK.
The "offending file" will refuse to be deleted, but Unlocker will give you an option to delete on reboot:

              Click Yes.
              Restart computer.

when I right click on the file all that shows up on the drop down menu is: preview, edit, print, open with..., and send to. The unblocker thing doesn't show up.

                  How many files?
