How to have a copy of a sent email on PC and laptop
    « on: September 12, 2009, 04:09:27 PM »
This may be a very dumb question but is there a way to have a copy of an email sent from my laptop (for instance) also show in my Sent folder on my PC?  I know how to get my incoming emails in both places but if I send a message, it only appears in the Sent folder of the machine it was sent from.

    Thank you.

The only way i can think of is you're using a web-based e-mail client such as Yahoo or gmail or another...
That way no matter what machine you log in from all your data is there...including the Outbox...
Others here may have some more ideas.

The only thing that works for me is one of these three methods.
    1. Use a web mail service that can be run on any PC. AOL is just another example. But I like gmail.
    2. If you can your own web site with cpanel, you can set up the mail server to use the alternative to pop-3, IMAP, or modify the pop-3 settings to keep the mail on the server.
    3. Use a redirect to send a copy to another e-mail account you have.

The #3 is nest choice, IMO.

Lots of Google hits for "synchronize email" which look like what you're after.
