Where is the graphics/video card located on my computer?

my graphics/video card is pretty old so im probaly going to upgrade it but can anyone tell me the location and what kind i should get.

Graphics card is the card you plug the monitor into.

If you plug in monitor in the area 1, you have on-board video, if in area 2, you have video card.

i plug mine in area 1 so how can i get or replace my graphic card?

You can buy a video card at best buy or any computer store and put it in there in place of the on board video the only thing that you have to make sure of is that you get the right one cause there are 2 different slots one is agp and the other is pci what kind of information can you give us about your computer.

It says: PCI (slots)     Three (two available)
So, you have two empty slots, where you can install your new video card.
Video cards come in 3 flavors: PCI (the slowest), AGP, PCI Express (the fastest)
Yours is the first type: PCI (not PCI Express).
For instance, if you go here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&Description=pci%20video%20card&bop=And&ActiveSearchResult=True&Page=5, you'll find PCI cards (again, don't look at PCI Express cards).
There are even cheaper cards, but you want to have at 256MB of RAM on that card.
