You want us to recite the entire English Dictionary?
No...just a whole bunch of words you use all the time (not literally).

Here's a word I use often:

prodigious @ capital; excellent

HOW CAN YOU USE THAT WORD OFTEN?!

Let me rephrase...definitions of words a grade 8-9 would use...

Pretty much insert "prodigious!" when anyone would say the overused, "Awesome!"   ;)

Here's a word I used in 9th grade:

elucidate @ clarify; explain

When I didn't understand something, I'd ask my teachers, "Please elucidate!"

I would list the entire dictionary, but I would probably be banned for trolling. ::)

Ambiguous @ Used to indicate when something is ambiguous
Mistake @ something done incorrectly, such as a mispelling.
vain @ used to indicate when a certain task is being performed  with no possibility of success, and with a high rate of errors. For example, asking members of a forum to provide definitions for arbitrary words. the resultset will likely only contain those words used in that particular area; and possiblity with many mistakes and/or self-representing definitions.
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

I resemble that remark!   ;)

That's a good point.  About half the definitions received so far have been poor.

your's are technically correct...

I was looking at Computeruler's vague definitions that are more opinion then fact.

Cupidity @  avarice

I use cupidity more often because it is easier to say than "avarice".
I lost my two front teeth abut a year ago. I wish the dentist would have told me that I would not be able to say 'avarice' correctly.    :'(

On my Social Security I have to choose between parts for my computer or parts for my body. What would you do?
