    Anyone know how to trace and delete bot net's on windows XP using Command Prompt? Would be useful because I got told botnets can't be deleted by anti-viruses???

        Why do people think Command Prompt can do so many magical things?

        I think it may have something to do with the perceived ability to get deeper into the bowels of the OS.......it's like if the AV program won't do the job then the only thing to try is the command prompt, equating it with dos, not understanding that it's not dos at all.
