It's not really, the american people that I dislike, but more or less their government. Then again, I'm not too fond of my own so much either. Actually, I'm not too fond of the entire idea of government. It's one of those, can't live it it, can't live without it, things. I mean, if I had to choice, I'd prefer this twisted democracy we have here to complete anarchy. I don't think my dental plan would cover me during an anarchic overthrow of the government.
besides, not a lot of people like politicians. Those that do are probably suffering from low self-esteem. Or maybe a lack of vitamin A. Probably both, since I've heard that low self-esteem makes one dislike carrots.
I work with a good bit of Canadians that do add "eh" at the end of just about every thing they say. However this has never led me to believe that all Canadians speak this way. I have traveled around a good bit of the world and long ago realized that you can't judge every one in a country based on the few people from there that you meet.
Take Americans (I am one) for example. If you visit or only meet people from the south we say y'all (short for you all) a lot yet up north the common phrase is "You Guys". So you can't say the American all say y'all or you guys because we all don't speak that way.
exactly, that's sort of what I mean- There are stupid people in every country, but just because you meet a few in one country doesn't mean everybody in that country is that way. I have met and had to deal with people whose stupidity was so immense I almost reconsidered my moral standing on murder. I quickly changed my mind, after realizing all the work it would entail, I mean, hiding the body, explaining the body somehow when it is inevitably discovered pushed in a corner of the room, trying to demonstrate how the victim drove themselves into the knife I was holding multiple times, and then proceeded to pick up a gun and shoot themselves in the back of the head multiple times as well, etc etc. Just so much work. So, I decided, that is what games like Doom are for!
