« on: July 02, 2009, 02:10:40 AM »
i have recently purchased a garmin nuvi 205w and it has a dead pixel. is there anyway i can fix it, so i don't have to go through the trouble of exchanging it? and if so, can anyone who knows how please give me a step by step and i mean kinder step by step explanation of how so i can get it right the first time instead of racking my brain over it. THANKS!!

Just exchange it, you paid for a warranty when you bought it.  You'd might as well use it.

That will save you more headaches in the long run.

is there anyway i can fix it

Step 1: Move to China
Step 2: Acquire a TFT production plant
Step 3: Employ an array of skilled, dextrous TFT production engineers
Step 4: Hand them your satnav for repairs

ANYTHING can be done, if you put your mind to it.
