    block other networks
    « on: December 21, 2010, 05:29:13 AM »
I am a beginner and wondered if wireless network connections that my computer picks up from neighbors can be used to access my computer or do they have to have my account/password to do so.  Is there a way for me to block all connections but my own or is this necessary?

Thanks for your help.  I'm using Windows 7 and the screens looked a little different than the examples, but I think that my configuration is okay now.
