cd rom power supply problem

I accidentaly disconnected the power supply from my cd rom and I dont know which power supply to plug in.  i have tried them all and then i get a message that says to press f1 or f2 for upgrades or to skip them. computer doesnt respond

    angie kent.....My first question has to be .......How did you accidentaly disconnect the 4 pin power supply to the cd-rom .
    There should be several available 4 pin plugs which will do the job......make sure when you plug it in that the side of the plug which has the yellow wire in it is towards the outside edge of the cd-rom .
    You say the computer doesnt resond ....exactly what do you mean ?
