Mac Pro won't connect to Macbook through Airport
    « on: June 18, 2009, 04:40:14 PM »
Ok so here's the deal.  I have a Mac Pro, a Macbook, and an Air Port.  I want to access the files on my Macbook with my Mac Pro through the wireless network.  However, every time I click on the Macbook in order to connect to it it it says Connection Failed.  Both computers are running on 10.5.7, both computers have file sharing turned on and the privileges set to read and write.  I can connect to the Mac Pro with the Macbook but not the other way around for some reason.

    Any suggestions?

Is there a firewall setting that needs to have an exception?

Woot... that solved the problem.  Now if only the apple support people had made that simple suggestion.
