      i tried that i went to PCI cards but it says "an error occured... Privileged instruction"

        run that in safe mode (save it to desktop) and boot into safe mode.
        i tried this right now its still testing .. its really long test . but its only memory i dont think theres anything wrong with memory cards

              You're all going around in circles. what do you expect to find running a video diagnostic? That the video card isn't working? Seems fairly clear that it isn't given the anomolous display. If reinstalling the driver didn't work, you need a new card.
              I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

              This will test all her hardware including her motherboard, video card etc. and I have stated previously that I think it is her video card but we are not looking at the computer and I don't want this user going off paying money and something else is causing it.
