you kind of sound like my dad.........When I was a teenager and had a good time doing something,  the first thing he would say is, "that great, where did you get the money"..   :-\

Ok, here's his reply... my dad's a bit eccentric at times... haha

How long have you been shooting? 39 years
What format do you prefer? Digital
Do you shoot film stock or digital? They still make film cameras?
Have you found a good digital camera for infrared? I do not do infared
Which camera and format do you prefer as a field camera? Nikon D200 D3X SLR Digital
Which system did you use for the lightning shots? Proprietary Trade Secret
Have you ever used TLR, or only SLR? I use both

I have some clarification for him.

When I asked about format, I actually meant if he likes medium format or 35mm.
About the lightning shots, I used to use a Pentax LX, it had metering off of the film plane rather than through the lense, it made that a lot easier to get right.  It also worked great for fireworks.
Which TLR does he use?
In the monochromatic shots I thought I saw some stuff that might be IR(Infrared B+W), I wasn't referring to that odd colored stuff.

we all know how to replace "amateur" with "professional" in anything- just wear a tie. It works for anything! For example- Pornographic productions give the actors ties, which makes it "professional"!

another example, instead of "amateur greased up naked weirdo" wear a tie. now your a "professional greased up naked weirdo".

      remember: just wear a tie!

      Rarely ties.

Half were professional, half were students, such is the life of a house photographer.  None of them were worth knowing.

Personally my preference for photography is monochromatic stills and monochromatic B+W IR for people.  The IR gives a detail that's just not possible with any other stock.  It's also great if your shooting stone or wood, anything with a high level of texture.

I also did all my own dark room work, including posotives.

I beg to differ, but that depends on what you define as 'Large Format'.
What many call large format I call medium format, what size are the negatives?
