PC GAME FREEZES

Hi everyone.
I received a PC game for Christmas (law & Order lol)
well I love the game and want toplay it but when I start the game it takes forever to move screens it just seems to hang there for a bit
I recently upgraded my memory, but I was not sure if that would cause the problem
Any help will be good
I also dont know  doI need a video card thing?

You already have a video card, it is what your monitor plugs into.  Now, you may need a better video card than what you have though.  Like Flame stated, what are the specs of your PC (cpu speed, RAM, video card memory) and what does the game state as it's minimum requirements?  If you need additional help, you can reach me at ResourcePC.

Ok i will have to get you the specs when i get home
all I know is I have a pentium 3 processor
750 mz ??  
windows XP
15 inch monitor (for now)

and the game specs I will have to send later also
(it did say it was compatible with xp)

750 MHZ... Kind of slow... I use 950, and can get around, but a 750 is too little for me... When you get home, I am also interested in how much RAM you have installed...

I bot the computer from a friend, refurbished
so its not a new one I can check tho
I have 512 memory that I just put in

I have not tried the game with the new memory so
I will try it then let you know
