Vista FTP problems

I created a ftp network on vista with the wizard and everytime i try to open it, it ask for a username and password. I typed in a username on the wizard but a password was not requested. When i try to acces the ftp server it asks for a username and the password i do not know. How do i change the password or remove this ftp entirely.

how do i go about doing that? and how can i share files with another person without using other websites?
