What is "blank page"
« on: July 04, 2009, 07:07:12 PM »
Broni -
When I answered your remarks on my recent problem (How does Avast scan work) I wanted to use "spell check".  When I clicked on "spell check" a page came up labeled "Blank page".  Spell check never came up.  What was I doing wrong?
Thanks   Bob

I am using the "spell check" at the bottom of the "post reply"  The line reads "post"  "preview"  "spell check"   When I click on it to have my spelling checked I get "Blank page"     Bob

I never use it, but let me see...
OK. I just did it, and when I click on "Spell check", pop-up window comes up:

This is the result of misspelling Testong one two three...
Broni i believe he meant on the post page itself...
Mine only works if the window is maximised...

The pop-up window that you got comes up sometimes but at other times a page comes up that is labeled "Blank Page - Windows Internet Explorer" and on the next line it says "about blank".  What I would like is to get rid of the blank page and use "spell check" to get rid of misspelled words.   Thanks   Bob

In the Post Reply box here on CH there is a spell check...perhaps that's what he referred to...

And when i use that it only works with the spell check window maximised.
    Just to clarify...

Is your internet browser maximised? Not the spell checker window.

Thanks for replies.  It was not a big problem but I just wanted to spell correctly.   Bob
