facts in partitioning

in partitioning a harddisk what is the minimum size of harddisk if im using
Windows xp
windows 98
and other operating system

Windows XP is 2GB for a Pentium II computer but I recommend 10GB or more for XP.
Windows 98 is 500MB for a basic system  back in 1998 but I recommend 2GB or more for 98.

    For Vista i wouldn't go any smaller than 80G.
