OK I did the f8 and picked the last good config option.  Went into windows and tried to download Mozilla Firefox.  Same problem, went to pay and received the "page cannot be displayed" message again.

I just can't get any further, the computer will not let me do it.

Any suggestions? :-/

Question:

1. What happens when you disable the Windows XP Firewall and then attempt to connect to secured websites?

Suggestion/Additional:

1. Disable Windows XP Firewall and install a proper firewall.

Here are two suggestions:

Zone Alarm Free

Sygate Personal Free
