Problem with endpoint protection
« on: July 27, 2009, 12:07:13 AM »
Hi All...

Our network used Symantec Endpoint protection software. Because of that only registered Memory Sticks(Pen drives/USB Pens) are allowed to insert to computers.
If not registered devised attached it gives error message "Successfully deactivated"
How we can bypass this option?
One told...that a simple file deletion would do..
What is that file and where to find that..
Thanks

Perhaps you should contact your administrator and explain your concerns to him/her.
It is not the purpose of Computer Hope to provide you with methods to circumvent the integrity and security of your network and compromise your company's accepted antivirus software.
