I searched online on how to hide the taskbar clock, using registry key and unfortunately it worked, the problem is now is that I can no longer view my clock no matter what I do

    My steps were:

    run regedit
    Go to HKEY CURRENT USER\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
    Go to HKEY LOCAL\MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Make a new DWORD Value called "HideClock"
and change it to "1" to hide the clock and "0" to show it

Unfortunately nothing I do is working so

    Help?

Did you re-boot after the registry changes ? ?

Why do you not want something...and then want it back ? ?

personally  I've always just used the "show clock" checkbox in taskbar properties...

but some people like to over complicate  things, I suppose.  :P

your welcome :); it's really only the really esoteric stuff you'll find hidden in the registry, most everything else has an option hidden in a dialog.  :)
