Same old tagline from IE4. OR maybe it was IE3. The fact that IE even needs a "protected mode" to be "secure" points to larger problems with the entire handling of security in IE.

The vulnerabilities in IE wouldn't be so bad if they didn't also become windows vulnerabilities due to Windows using the IE DLLs for various functions all around.

"ActiveX controls can only execute when you allow them" except where they circumvent the policy

"the MSJVM protects your PC from malicious java applets" as long as they don't use COM, in which case they can create any COM object they want and use it however they please

the fact that any "menace" can get to the point where it can execute is the problem, not what rights said program has.

    1) speed
    2) addons (firefox)
    3) looks nice (chrome,firefox)
    )IE sometimes stuffs up the number 
    5)and you can do much more stuff with it

      I usually use Advanced Browser because it's alot faster than IE, although i do also have IE8, Firefox, Ace Explorer too, just in case i need them.
