    Laptop HDD
    « on: August 16, 2009, 07:17:39 AM »
    I've recently bought a new laptop and decided i'd replace the HDD in the old one before i get rid of it.

    It's a Packard Bell R1935 and the old HDD is a Seagate 50GB Ultra ATA.

    My question is can i replace it with any drive?? A PATA? A SATA? I've read online about the differences, but are they all compatible with my laptop?

    I'd appreciate any guidance you can offer, thanks.

    Laptops rarely come with both connectors so just replace it with the same style...
    Pata=Pata
    Sata=Sata
