    how can i figure out my network is been limite or not?

    i share the network with my other roomate, but my network always slow ,

    router is linksys cisco

    is there have any kinds sofeware or method to figure that out?

    Do you and your roommate use wired or wireless?

    Is your router protected with a password?  There may be people outside your home using your wireless service...essentially hogging your bandwidth

      yup we all use wireless and protected with password. my brother think that other roomate he limited our network speed because when i login to 192.168.1.1 it need ID and password, and i type ID: admin password:admin it not work....

      The password could also be "password" or blank. The username could also be "administrator". Ask your roommate if he put a password on there and why.
